"It was my privilege and pleasure to teach a group of Montessori high school juniors in my Western Civilization class at Anderson University this semester.  I cut them no slack and they rose to the challenge, easily performing on a par with the college freshmen and sophomores who were their classmates for fifteen weeks.  Each of these students in his or her own way bore testimony to the excellent preparation Montessori is giving them for college, the world of work, and for life in general.  I observed good communication and critical thinking skills, a strong work ethic and sense of personal responsibility, genuine respect and civility towards others, and – above all – an eagerness to learn that made them a delight to teach.  These are the kinds of students we hope will consider Anderson University when it comes time to choose a college.  Wherever they go, whatever they do, I believe they are well equipped to succeed."
