Fundraising

Following is a summary of the ongoing fundraisers for our school. Most of them require very little effort and are already part of our everyday routines.

Grocery store cards – Bloom, Publix, Bi-Lo and Ingles grocery stores have programs that support schools. If you participate, a percentage of your purchase total will go toward your designated school. You will need to sign up with whichever grocery store you use. Publix cards are available in the MSA main office. You will need to pick up an application for Bloom, Bi-Lo or Ingles at school or at their customer service desk. You will need to designate Montessori School of Anderson as the selected school. Once registered, you will simply need to show your card at checkout and it will be scanned. (2006-2007 totals: $910.30 plus balls and obstacle course for P.E.)

General Mill’s Box Tops – Clip and save the pink Box Tops for Education coupon found on certain participating General Mill’s products. Each coupon is worth 10 cents for our school. Just drop off in the MSA main office or your classroom collection box. (2006-2007 total: $648.30)

Cambell’s Soup Labels – Clip the square that has the UPC code and “get free stuff for your school.” Drop off in the MSA main office or your classroom collection box. This is a point-program that allows us to “purchase” playground equipment based on total points earned.

Tyson Project A+ - Clip and save the entire Project A+ label from participating Tyson products. Each label is worth 24 cents for our school. Just drop off in the MSA main office or your classroom collection box. (New program for 2007-2008)

Ink Cartridges & High-tech toner (for printers). - Just turn them in to the designated collection box in the MSA main office. Our school is credited different amounts depending on the cartridges. This is part of a recycling program. (2006-2007 totals: $710.25)

Land’s End Preferred School Program (Middle and High school) - Shop at landsend.com for school uniform purchases. Enter the school uniform section, select item for purchase, enter our preferred school number 9001-2153-4 and then add item to bag. Land’s End contributes 3% of net sales back to the school. (New program for 2007-2008.)
