Mr. Nickles originally studied architecture and graduated with a degree in Design from Clemson University. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Columbia Theological Seminary and studied for a year at Trinity College in Glasgow, Scotland. He earned his Montessori teaching certification from the Center for Montessori Teacher Education in New York. His primary assignment for MSA is teaching in the Upper Elementary level and is the coach for the MSA archery team.
Mrs. Coffey is a lead teacher in Upper Elementary and will function this year as Director of the Lower School. She earned a B.S. in in Human Services and Resources, and a Master’s of Education in Curriculum Instruction and Assessment. The American Montessori Society awarded her certifications in both Early Childhood and Upper Elementary.
Mrs. Henderson is support teacher for Upper Elementary. Ball State University awarded her a B.S. degree in Elementary and Special Education and she has completed some work for a Master’s degree. Before coming to Anderson, she taught special education for four years.
