At the Montessori School of Anderson, every member of our community contributes in meaningful ways to the growth and well-being of our students. Inspired by Maria Montessori’s vision that “education is a natural process carried out by the child and is not acquired by listening to words but by experiences in the environment,” we honor the interconnected roles that shape that environment.

The Circle of Excellence is a school-wide initiative that recognizes those who shine the light of guidance, lift others to new heights, and provide the steadfast foundation on which growth is possible. Just as a circle has no beginning and no end, these awards highlight the ongoing, interwoven contributions of guides, assistants, administrative staff, and support staff — each essential to the flourishing of our Montessori community.

Through the Guiding Light Award, the Uplift Eagle Award, and the Foundation Stone Award, we recognize the brilliance, dedication, and quiet strength that make our school a place where children can truly discover their fullest potential.

Montessori School of Anderson families, faculty, and staff are invited to nominate anyone who meets the qualifications below and encouraged to share details about their impact.
